A Quiz on Christmas eve/day why not!?

So, I was thinking, hey, what should I write about today..... Not wanting to go into more movies I decided in stealing this from  Becca. 1.  Who were you with yesterday? Hmm, yesterday I was with a lot of people, considering that I was at work for the beginning of the day and then after that I had my Christmas party. Which was fun, but apparently turned into a huge gong show. Thankfully we left before all that broke out!!! I had to work today too... =( It doesn't even feel like Christmas. 2.  What woke you up this morning? My really annoying alarm clock and my cat and Bryan..... There was no way I sleeping through all that non sense! 3.  Where are you? I am at Bryans parents house, we always come here on Christmas eve because they always open one present that is usually PJ's and then we watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation!!!! 4.  Is tomorrow going to be a good day? That is the dumbest thing I have ever been asked. Tomorrow is Christmas...... OF COURSE IT WILL B

MOVIES!!!

So, this is actually incredibly hard for me... Because I love, love, love movies. Picking 5, is NOT easy!!! One thing I can say though is that I love a lot of different kind of movies! I like everything from Tinker Bell to 300 to The Notebook to the Saw movies. So, I told you that I was going to do my top 5 favourite movies, and I honestly cannot narrow it down, so I am going to do my top 10 for this part only =) I feel like a movie can totally change my mood for the day, it can brighten me up or bring me down. So, here are my top 10 favourite movies, in NO particular order, cause there is no way I could do that lol! =) 1. Man in the Iron Mask- Now, this movie I feel like no one has ever seen. I'm not sure why, perhaps it wasn't as popular when it came out but then again I was 6 years old when it did come out. I love it! I like the humour and the seriousness all at once. My dad told me about this movie not to long ago and I had to search  and search to find it. I like the i

My Top 5 Actresses!

So, I was thinking the other day about blog posts I could make, and I figured, why not give you my top 5 favourite movies, songs, actors and actresses! So, to start it off.... my top 5....Actresses~ 1. Scarlett Johanssen - I have always loved her, even when I saw her for the first time in Eight Legged Freaks, one of my favourite movies she has been in was Scoop, and of course Iron Man. I did like her in the Avengers, however I felt that she wasn't necessarily the best "Russian" they could have gotten. She did do well as Black Widow though. When her and Ryan Renoylds got married, I was so happy, they seemed like they perfect couple and I really liked them both as actors. She has such a classic look about her, it is wonderful. I feel like the thing with her, is you either LOVE her or you really HATE her! I think she is very unique and a wonderful person for young girls to look up to. 2. Amy Adams- How could you not love this red headed beauty! She is fabulous an

My day!

Well, today was for my first day of actual classes. It went really well actually, I love my class time... Monday and Wednesday is 1-5 and then Tuesday and Thursdar 5:30-9:30. Now to some people that would just blow. Not me!!! I love sleeping in more then almost anything. Literally. So, today we were in class from 1-5 obviously and our teacher/professor/facilitator whatever you want to call them is named Rick and he is the cutest old man, he is so funny! I am very happy that he is that kind of teacher for sure. In this class we are learning about learning disabilities, intellectual disorders, and the gifted. Our first assignment is watching a particular movie and then basically doing a report and presentation on it. So, I get to do Benny and Joon!! Which is a movie that I just love!!! It is about a girl and her brother .... Benny and Joon..... haha. Obviously! Anyways, I don't want to ruin it but it is such an awesome movie!!! It is about a mentally ill women who falls in love w

UFC

Now, I am writing about UFC because a lot of people either LOVE it or they absolutely hate it more then almost anything. Personally, I really enjoy watching it, I wouldn't say that I am a die hard fan, I'll leave that to Bryan and his Dad. However there is something about the hype and the build up and the extreme athleticism that appeals to me. It takes so much skill and work it is astounding to me. The biggest thing is that this isn't just a sport, or a job. This is literally a lifestyle. Training every single day in the gym, working to gain weight or lose weight and preparing months in advance for 1 fight that could make or break their entire career. There is definitely a part of me that has a huge respect for that. First off, let me tell you kind of how it works. There are 8 different weight classes, which means there are 8 different world champions right now. First off, here are the weight classes along with the reining champions right now: Heavy weight- Junior

New Laptop...

So, seeing as how I was starting school soon, I figured I would need a new laptop so that I can actually write papers and maybe new research! First, I had to research what kind of computer I should get! There were so many options But... The first choice was Apple? Or PC? MacBook Pro! A lot of people around me were getting MacBooks and I had used one before and really liked it. However, I really could not fathom spending hat much money on one single thing. The one thing I did notice however, was, the people that had MacBooks weren't really extremely computer savvy people. I don't mean that in any rude way, however the people that were really good with computers and who know a lot about them told me to go with PC. I still wanted a Mac just so I was like everyone else. But I don't do anything with music, or videos so there would be literally no point in spending that extra money. I could get so much more for so much less! Everything about my PC was way higher then the Ma

For B!

So, my best friend also blogs and she does tag ones, where you do it and then the person you tag has to do it too!! Now, she is much more linguistically able then I am and is a much better writer, hence the major in journalism? ;) Anyways! This one is about winter things, so here we go! This ones for you B! Die Another Day 1. Favorite winter nail polish?   Hmm... That is a tough one seeing as how I am obessed with nail polish. How am I supposed to choose?!! Well, usually, I would gravitate towards dark blues. However this year, the new James Bond line came out from OPI and I am seriously in love!!!!!!! There are no words people. Now you may be thinking... You're insane, its just nail polish. Incorrect. It is a lifestyle. Hahah. I have over 400 dollars in OPI nail polish. Thank goodness I work at a salon! It is beautiful red with sparkles! Lip Saver 2. Favorite winter lip product? Well, I am not huge into actual lip colour, I mean sometimes but very rarely, unles

Sons of Anarchy

SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original) Jax So, last Thursday, I decided seeing as how I have 3 days off,  I was going start Sons of Anarchy. My Dad watches it religiously. However, I never really knew anyone else that watched it. But I did know it turned into a huge phenomenon, so I figured... What the hell. I will giver a whirl. I was gonna start it alone, so that I could watch it when Bryan wasn't around. BUT of course, he decided he wanted watch the first episode. That was it. All it took. Bryan was hooked and I was OBSESSED. I don't use that word lightly. Seriously, this is my new life. Clay                                                                                 I'm not really going to go into much detail in case this entices anyone to watch it. But this show is absolutely amazing. I would tell anyone out there to watch it. Honestly, I don't usually go for shows like this at all. I'm more of a Gossip Gi

Christmas Shopping

So,  Bryan and I usually have it pretty lucky when it comes to Christmas Shopping. We have my 3 nephews and my neice, his little brother and our parents. Now to some that may seem like a lot, however when you have a family the size of a small community...(no joke). It is heavenly! Saves a lot of money. Seeing as how in our family, once you have kids, you buy presents for them instead of the parents. So, Bryan decided that we are gonna hold off on having kids. So, we can get presents still. Brilliant right? My neice and nephews are pretty easy to buy for too! Seeing as how my sisters just tell me exactly what they want this year. We hot my neice the new Tinkerbell Movie, which I am kind of jealous of. Not gonna lie.... I LOVE TINKERBELL!! Who doesnt? Although she is kind of bitchy and slutty to be honest. Oh well! We love her for her flaws... hehe. Then my oldest nephew is getting the Avengers from us! =) That is one of Bryans favorites!!!! My other two nephews are getting Nintendo

The Proposal!

So, people always ask, how Bryan proposed! I wish it was some glamorous, wonderful story, but its not... unfortunately... thanks to me lol I was kind of suspicious right around Christmas time because he never gave me any hint towards what he was giving me! So, at the beginning of the month... I had a feeling. I texted my maid of honour and told her my thoughts! She got soo excited for me and was starting to really hope I wasn't going crazy. I kept making subtle hints towards it and he started getting pretty annoyed with me. I tried to get it off my mind but I really just couldn't shake the idea. So around the 13th or 14th I took him to his friends house for band practice.  I dropped him off, said good bye and went on my way! I forgot to give him something out of the car  so I texted him, soon enough I saw his phone light up on the cubby of the passenger door. I turned around to take his phone back, I pulled into the drive way and grabbed his phone. I saw my text message

My Weekend Adventures! =D & Wedding Favors!

Well, last week I left off about Breaking Dawn... YUP. Saw it. LOVED IT. I am lame. Whatever lol. Friday I went to my bestfriends house and we pretty much just played Sims, because that is what we love to do! =) Sims Seasons just came out and I must say it was fricken awesome. I love it!! Usually it is just summer all the time, but this is really so much fun! Saturday, I had work that was honestly the longest day of my life.... Then I went to my friends birthday party, which was Disney Themed!! =) I was sooo excited, I got to be Tinkerbell! It was so much fun, plus I just slept over and work was only about 4 minutes away...which was fabulous!!! I was looking at Wedding Favors and I saw the cutest idea! Mini Apple Pies!!!! ahhh! I thought it was actually so adorable and smart. The crust had little crust hearts all over it! They were made in tart tins. But honestly, who doesn't love pies. There were also, Jones bottles that were personalized with your name and picture on them!

Flowers...Flowers.. Flowers...and TWILIGHT

So, throughout this whole whirlwind of wedding planning, I wanted to try and make our wedding fun and incorporate the fact that we are young. I think that is why I was so drawn to the idea about having all of the bridesmaids in different colour shoes! =) But I haven't decided if I want the girls to have the same flowers, just different colours. OR if they should all have completely different flowers as well as different colours. That is kind of confusing.....  Here are some pictures to kind of clarify what I do mean...  So this top one is what I mean when I say different colours but the same flowers. Which would probably be roses to match the centerpieces. Or Something like this where you can see the flowers match the shoes, but they are all different flowers as well... Hmm... I cannot decide. I guess that is why we have a consultation with a florist next Thursday. Because I want it to be unique but I also don't want it to drain the whole budget...

WORK!

I forgot to tell everyone about where I worked!! Although that may not be important to some people, it is very important to me because of how much I absolutely love my job and the people I work with. I started just this past February, honestly at the beginning, I wasn't so sure about it. The worst part was standing all day. My feet were not used to it at all and by the end of the day I would honestly want to die. BUT. As the time went on, my feet became more used to it and I got to know everyone I worked with. It is a lot of fun. I work as a receptionist at a hair salon. It is so much fun to be around people and talk on the phone. I do love it. However, the worst part is I know that I just can't live off of what I make unfortunately...SO, I decided to go back to school. I thought long and hard about it but I finally decided what I wanted to do. I am going to take Human Services and hopefully become a guidance counselor by the end of things. I decided to do this because of h

How We Met....

I guess technically Bryan and I met... almost 4 years ago on December 2nd or 3rd, I believe... The only reason I remember is because it was actually the date of a concert we were both attending, just not together =) I was actually friends with his older brother first and the first time I met Bryan, lets just say, I wasn't the biggest fan. We were both on the "floor" and it can get pretty rough down there, I am not the tallest person... So I usually get knocked around a lot. I am actually pretty used to it and really didn't need anyone to look out for me. But he seemed to think he did, which bothered me even more. I didn't need anyone to take care of me especially my friends weird little brother. I had, had enough of this guy. Especially because I heard he liked  someone else. He seemed nice enough, but it just wasn't for me. This would have happened in 2008, so from then on, I knew who he was but we never talked or anything. It was definitely an acquaint

A Very Long Weekend Indeed....

Sorry!! I had a pretty busy weekend and then I had work and just wasn't on my game!!! On Saturday, my friend and my sister and I went to a Wedding Expo. It was in a smaller town so it wasn't as busy as the ones in the city. There were lots of different ideas and helpful booths for the wedding thats for sure. There were tons of photographers and they were all showing such wonderful pictures. The main thing I wanted to talk to someone about was flowers!!!! The worst part was, the lady who had the flower booth couldn't make it because of the weather =( Thankfully she emailed me back and we have an appointment to meet in a couple weeks. The other thing that I really loved, was a booth that did funny pictures. She would bring all of her props and camera and set up a little area to take silly pictures. I thought this was such a fabulous idea!!! Its different and much more affordable then a photo booth which is what I originally thought might be a good plan. Until I realized t

More About the Wedding!! =)

I completely forgot to write yesterday! I was so busy with Halloween =) So, I introduced you to my wedding party.... Now, whats next. We are having the wedding and reception in kind of a neutral location, so that it is convenient for everyone! It is at a really pretty golf course, which I cannot wait to take pictures at!! A family member has offered to let us use her basement to get ready and everything which is wonderful and I am so thankful we will just be a few minutes  away!  The coolest thing we get to do with the bridal party is, they are all wearing black dresses, and they each have their own colour of shoes and then their flowers match! I am soo excited to do this. I really wanted to incorporate the fact that we are young and have fun with it! That is what I have used for inspiration. Except they are going to have all different flowers, and converse. For  example, the maids of honour are in red so they will have red roses and then Megan has pink so she wi

Halloween!!!

This is one of my favorite times of year, aside from Christmas of course!!! I work at a salon that is inside a little mall. The mall administration actually give candy to each store so that we can hand it out to all the kids that come in! It really is a ton of fun and it makes it a lot easier on the parents who don't want to take there kids out in the cold October evening honestly. My favourite part of the whole thing is handing out candies to all the kids.  This year, we got about 25 kids, but some weren't even dressed up and were very rude. It saddened me a lot to see what Halloween has turned into. We gave out full size chocolate bars and I let the kids chose which ones they wanted and some took more then one, even though I told them to only take one each. They way I remember Halloween was nothing like that. Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that the reason my Halloweens were so different and exciting had a lot to do with where i grew up. Being from a small town, I

Let me Introduce to You....

Where did I leave off..... Oh yeah!!! I am engaged to a wonderful, guy who is my best friend. He is so very sweet and romantic! Though anyone who knows him may not think soo!! Our  wedding date is set for September 21, 2013! Its actually come up soo quick and I am starting to get very excited! I got my dress in June and I kind of forget what it looks like!!!! It soo pretty and white though, I can't go into to much detail just in case "he" reads it! But,  I will share soon enough. =) I went dress shopping with my Maid of Honour this last Saturday looking for dresses for all of my bridesmaids. At the beginning, I actually thought that maybe we would have to do all different dresses, only because my bridesmaid, are all such different shapes and sizes it is wild! We started out the day and she tried on a few short ones (which is what i wanted originally), but i just kept getting pulled towards the long ones, quite surprisingly. We found  a couple of dresses, and the o
