New Laptop...

So, seeing as how I was starting school soon, I figured I would need a new laptop so that I can actually write papers and maybe new research! First, I had to research what kind of computer I should get! There were so many options But... The first choice was Apple? Or PC?

MacBook Pro!
A lot of people around me were getting MacBooks and I had used one before and really liked it. However, I really could not fathom spending hat much money on one single thing. The one thing I did notice however, was, the people that had MacBooks weren't really extremely computer savvy people. I don't mean that in any rude way, however the people that were really good with computers and who know a lot about them told me to go with PC. I still wanted a Mac just so I was like everyone else. But I don't do anything with music, or videos so there would be literally no point in spending that extra money. I could get so much more for so much less! Everything about my PC was way higher then the MacBook... Not to mention if I ended up getting a Mac, Bryan would have killed me and Apple would have killed my bank account.

So... I went to Future Shop and looked at the laptops. Looked and them all. Finally decided that buying a Mac would probably be the biggest waste of money ever, I decided to head towards the PC. But from then on I needed to decide what kind!! =) My old laptop was a Dell which I did really love, however the motherboard went and it is really finicky. Plus the mouse pad didn't work. So, I looked at the Dells and I just didn't see one I really liked.

Mine!

The one thing I really wanted was a white one with spaced out keys. That sounds weird, but I am more comfortable with that kind of keyboard. I looked around and saw a lot I liked but I really wanted one with a big processor because of all the multitasking I would be doing. I really liked the UltraBooks, they were nice and light, but their processors weren't that good. So, I finally found one I liked!!! It was white and had everything I needed and it was a third of the price that the MacBook would have been!! I was so excited to get it.

I am so happy I went with a PC and saved myself a lot of money. I love my laptop and I also love Windows 8! It is really cool and I have the Windows 7 interface as well!

That's all for now!!

Miss me?!

Hello, you beautiful and wonderful people! Well it seems it has been awhile since I wrote last and I honestly cannot believe it has been over 8 years since I started this blog, man, if I had kept up it would have been amazing.... But seeing as how I haven't written in 2 years, it is not so miraculous.  Anywho, I have been trying to focus more on self care these days and I remember how much I enjoyed writing in here. So... What's new? Uhmm I want to take the easy way out and say nothing but it has been 2 years, so obviously something is new! 1. I called it quits with my B.Ed for honestly, a lot of different reasons. 2. I went back to doing hair - who would have thought! 3. I went through a really hard breakup and a broken heart. 4. I met the most wonderful human. 5. I dealt with a lot of death. 6. I am starting to figure myself out. Well, where shall we start to elaborate on any of that... How about school...  Well, I did almost 2 years of school and it was hard....

My Top 5 Actresses!

So, I was thinking the other day about blog posts I could make, and I figured, why not give you my top 5 favourite movies, songs, actors and actresses! So, to start it off.... my top 5....Actresses~ 1. Scarlett Johanssen - I have always loved her, even when I saw her for the first time in Eight Legged Freaks, one of my favourite movies she has been in was Scoop, and of course Iron Man. I did like her in the Avengers, however I felt that she wasn't necessarily the best "Russian" they could have gotten. She did do well as Black Widow though. When her and Ryan Renoylds got married, I was so happy, they seemed like they perfect couple and I really liked them both as actors. She has such a classic look about her, it is wonderful. I feel like the thing with her, is you either LOVE her or you really HATE her! I think she is very unique and a wonderful person for young girls to look up to. 2. Amy Adams- How could you not love this red headed beauty! She is fabulous an...
