What Do You Do For Fun?

So, the question I hate being asked is "What do you do for fun??"

Honestly, I despise it. I am not gonna sit here and tell you I regularly like to sky dive and go to Italy for gelato. My life is boring but I don't wanna let you know that right off the bat. So I make up a somewhat believable story that could in fact be true. About how I love going camping and on road trips with my friends. Now that is all true, but I wouldn't say it is a regular occurrence for me. Its not something I do very often for fun, after they get to know me they would really know that what I do for fun is lame. That when I have free time I actually play Sims and become so addicted to TV shows it is crippling. Yup. That's me, my real friends know that but when I meet someone new I don't want them to know about my Gossip Girl addiction, or about my desire to name my first child after a fictional character from Sons of Anarchy, my obession with Lucas being with Peyton not Brooke, and especially not my emotional reliance on Greys Anatomy. I lead a simple life, and small things make me happy lol.

I feel as though when people ask that question they are expecting an exciting answer... I don't wanna be like, "I cry when fictional characters die, and by cry I actually mean hyperventilate clutching my pillow. Wanna be friends?!?!" That's when the new person I just met, nods, smiles, walks away and perhaps questions my mental state. OR they will get super excited and completely agree with everything I have said (Now that hasn't happened yet, but I am betting that one day it will.) Now speaking of my favourite TV shows, the hardest question someone asks me? What is your favourite one?

I DON'T KNOW!!! They are all freakin awesome, but honestly, Grey's Anatomy and Sons of Anarchy are probably pretty high up there. Pretty Little Liars used to be my favourite but honestly after 4 seasons of me trying to guess who this 'A' person is, I just wanna know already. You can't string me along forever you damn show. I mean honestly..... I don't know how the show is supposed to go on after this season. I could probably rant about PLL for a really long time so I am choosing to stop now.

But honestly, the next time you see me, never ask what I like to do for fun.... Cause it is a gonna be a really disappointing answer, UNLESS you yourself are addicted to TV shows like me. Then please do ask me what I do for fun and we will have endless hours of conversation ahead of us. It's late and I think I am overtired.......

Toodles,

xoxo- Shelb

My Biggest Fears.

So, I was having a tough time coming up with ideas for my blog and my sister sent me a few ideas that I could use and one of them was phobias, so that made me think about everything and it made me realize that I have a few fears in my life that really really scare me. Also, I am gonna try and get pictures for this blog as well.... but it will freak me out so I hope you realize what I am going through lol.  I will start with the least and end with the biggest fear! Here we go! =) 3. Clowns. OMG. Please do not laugh because I am not kidding. I am petrified of clowns. I have no idea why but they scare the shit of out me. I have this fear that I am going to be locked in a carnival or something and the only things around are clowns. I remember one year we went to Screamfest and there was a clown walking around and I looked at it and thought to myself... he is gonna come up to me I know it. Well what do you know, as we are waiting in line he comes up behind me and whispers in my ear...

So, I wrote a book.

What is new in my life?  Well not a whole lot actually,  still going to school,  still have the same friends,  still worrying about everything,  still dealing with anxiety.  Isn't that just the life?  I suppose.  It is mine at least lol. So, I feel like I have spent a lot of my time trying to find my "thing."  I always wanted to be that person who had one thing they were known for.  So I've tried it all,  I draw,  which is fun but I don't find myself constantly doing it and if I decide to do it as gift it seems like more of an effort than something I just enjoy.  I tried scrapbooking... Nope.  I tried running,  nah.  Then baking,  which I actually do love!  But somehow in the midst of looking for my "thing"  I never even realized that I had already found mine and I'd had it for a long time and it had always been my outlet, it had just been something that was always private and I never really...
