All About Shelby

If you have met me before, perhaps you would say I am confident and know exactly what I want? Well the truth is, that is what I want to portray but I couldn't be farther from the opposite. One day I will want one thing and the next I wont even remember it. To be completely honest, when I was in high school. I wanted to be a teacher. Down to the core and not only did I want to be a teacher, I wanted to go away for school. Obviously, things happen and change. So, years out high school, I have gone to hair school.... (NO THANKS). It was a mistake and I should have been mature enough to realize that before I went. Well I didn't and here we are. I decided last year that I wanted to go back to school, so today I am in school for Human Services and I really do enjoy it. I can't get teaching and education out of my head though. Taking this course has really been great because it has got me to really start focusing and thinking about my future. I really want to go on and get my b...

So, I thought it would be fun to introduce my family... Well sort of do what I can! So, I have a confusing story here when it comes to my immediate family. There's me! I am the baby.  My parents are still together after I believe like 27 years and then there is my half brother and sister. Now both of my parents were married before they met each other. My mom never had kids from her previous marriage but my Dad did! Now enter Paige and Casey! They are 9 and 10 years older then me. My brother is the oldest! HERE WE GO!!!! Casey is 10 years older then me and to be completely honest we were never really that close. He was pretty quiet growing up but having such a huge gap it is kind of hard to be close to someone! He is very very smart, loves to read and loves hockey! He has season tickets to the NHL team here. He works very hard and I truly admire him for that, he has 2 beautiful children and an amazing wife. Pam is probably one of the strongest women I have ever met, ...

Well, since I last wrote my life has changed a lot I suppose. I am adujusting to life alone and it really isn't bad haha. It definitely took some getting used to though. I have a very very busy life so I think that, that helps. I have school 4 days a week, practicum 4 days a week and work 3 days a week and on top of that I go to the gym at least 4 days a week. So I really don't have any free to think! The  biggest change I have made is the gym, I am really starting to enjoy it now. When I first started it wasn't very fun obviously but now it is something I look forward to either at the beginning or the end of my day! I work out with my friend Brittany and my trainer Alina, some days I really dislike her but after the work out I learn to forgive haha! It definitely different but I am enjoying the hard work.
